ILIVE S809B Wireless Outdoor Speaker for IS809B ReviewAfter reading about all the problems of setting this system up I was expecting drama. My only shock is how those people with all those install issues are able to function in today's WiFi & Bluetooth society.
Plug the base into the wall, turn on a speaker and hold down the buttons of both base and speaker and they will exchange info and assign an address DONE. 4 secs
You never have to do it again. Want to add another speaker, hold down buttons and DONE. You can add up to 200 speakers.
These speakers use the same idea that BOSE does which generates a 360 degree sound pulse. These are not the typical directional speakers we are used to. Place 4 throughout your home properly and no matter where you are, you get rich deep quadraphonic tones and highs that make you notice.
Because of their design, they do not need to be placed as a set, or on a book shelf or even visible. They fill the area with great sound no matter where you put them. Great for parties because each speaker volume can be adjusted individually and since they are wireless, placed anywhere.
I also like the ability to assign each speaker as a right, left or single.
The BlueTooth remote is also very cool. Works up to 90feet away from base and does not need to be in line of sight because it uses the BlueTooth radio wave to transmit commands.
Very nice solid feel and also works as an alarm clock if you want to wake to music.
The only drawback I see is that the BlueTooth signals interfere with the WiFi signal so APPs like iHeartRadio will not work. Music Only.
